Outstanding five piece Marx clockwork locomotive train set in excellent+ to near mint condition complete with key, original box, inserts, and instructions. Also includes 10 track pieces. Set includes the following: 591 Locomotive - 9". Black enameled sheet metal boiler and cab with sparkler and heavy clockwork motor. No identification name or number. Spoke die cast metal wheels, tinned boiler stack, on/off switch, metal coupler and metal side rods and hand rails. No plastic. 555 Caboose 6". Red and black New York Central Lines, black plastic wheels and metal coupler. 554 Coal Hopper 6" Red and black exterior with bright yellow interior. Northern Pacific Yellowstone Park Lines and Central Coal Co., black plastic wheels and metal couplers. 738701 High Sided Gondola 6". Red and black interior and exterior, black plastic wheels, metal couplers. 551 Tender 6". Black with light gray and white banding and rivets. New York Central rounded corners. Black plastic wheels with metal couplers. Track eight 10" curves, and two 9" straights.Box 15" x 10" x 2½". Instructions: Partially devoured by critters....but no signs of human handling.
